An instructional method of drawing generation

Our Advance Diploma drawing class got back to basics with an instructional method of drawing generation with Gail Russell.
Returning the Lady To Her Seat
After a dance is over, the gentleman accompanies the lady back to her chair or other place of origin, usually with easy exclamations of pleasure and gratitude. He does not end a dance with a quick "thanks," and then bound off toward the snack table, leaving her alone in the middle of the floor. We should try not to desert or abandon our ladies.
This semester we will cut a rug and trip the light fantastic with Dallas Perry.
AcknowledgeackRecognise your partner with an implied "thank you for gracing me with your company." One standard acknowledgement is an "apart, point." A bit more old-fashioned is the bow and curtsey. Nowadays, we are more and more seeing "together, touch" or "together and shape" or "gather her to closed" (which are much the same thing); box finish; and off we dance.
